Using Help with English

1. There are 8 different games, all simple and easy to play. Children soon learn to play them and then want to replay over and again to achieve faster and better results. That way they benefit through repetition and self-motivation.
2. The games are played against the clock, with one point scored for each correct answer going towards a session score target.
3. Each game contains a bank of questions from which six are randomly selected each time a game is played. If children give a wrong answer to a question then the question will be repeated immediately so that mistakes can be put right straight away. However if children really are stuck then they can ask to see the correct answer, but at the cost of one penalty point deducted.
4. Children decide their own score targets. That way they are motivated to keep improving.
5. Every screen has an online help screen. These are aimed primarily at adult supervisors.
